Mary Byrne, Teaching Assistant

Mary is a San Francisco native and proud graduate of San Francisco State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physics. Before dedicating herself to education, Mary also worked as an engineer, bringing valuable real-world STEM experience into the classroom. With more than 20 years of experience teaching middle and high school Physics, she has inspired countless students to explore, question, and discover the world around them.

Passionate about making a lasting impact, Mary is excited to give back to the SAFG community and inspire the next generation of innovators, scientists, and engineers. She is especially passionate about helping young people see themselves as capable, confident, and excited to pursue opportunities in STEM.
