Elise Ricard, Volunteer Engagement & Events Project Manager
An East Bay native, Elise earned undergraduate degrees in Education and History from the University of San Diego and a Master’s in Museum Studies from San Francisco State University. She spent 16 years at the California Academy of Sciences, where she developed and led science presentations and interactive programs for audiences of all ages—covering everything from dark matter to deep-sea creatures.
Elise joined Scientific Adventures for Girls to pursue her personal mission of sparking curiosity and a love of science in young children. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, spending time outdoors, exploring the world with her family, and cheering on Bay Area sports teams.
