Darenae Evans

Darenae Evans joins the board of SAfG with deep passion and excitement to support the mission of removing systemic barriers to increase the representation of girls in STEM. As a woman of color in STEM, Darenae is particularly passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion within the space, as it pertains to access for girls and women of color. 

Darenae brings experience to the board, having previously served as a board member of the Black Ensemble Theater in Chicago, IL. Additionally, she has consistently held leadership positions in workplace employee resource groups, supporting the engagement, recruitment and retention of diverse STEM talent.

Currently, she works as a Program Manager at Apple within the Supply Chain Operations organization. Prior to Apple, Darenae worked at The Boeing Company in multiple roles spanning the Information Technology organization. She holds a BS in Computer Science from Spelman College, a BSE in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a MS in Design Innovation from the Segal Design Institute at the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
