Traveling the Stars with Python (Ages 14-18)

This workshop will focus on creating a sidescrolling game using Pygame, where a spaceship travels from one planet to another, avoiding obstacles like asteroids. Participants will learn how to create variables, implement parallax scrolling, program arrow keys for movement, move obstacles, and understand collision detection.
