STEM Education is for Everyone
Scientific Adventures for Girls delivers afterschool STEM programs to TK-6th grade students, with a special focus on girls of color from low-income families and communities. We are changing the face of science and giving all girls an opportunity to discover and engage in STEM to close the gender gap. We inspire them with hands-on learning opportunities and encourage lifelong learning of STEM subjects.
Our Impact
SAfG has served over 10,000+ children and families across 37 school sites through all of our STEM programs in the San Francisco East Bay area.
We know that when programs are accessible, fun, and supportive, students are more successful. 80% of girls who have been to our afterschool STEM classes can’t wait to come back.
