Regina Brooks-Day, Teaching Assistant @ Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary (Oakland)

Mrs. Regina Violia Brooks-Day is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley where she earned her BA in African American Studies with a minor in Education. She obtained her teaching credential from San Francisco State University. Mrs. Brooks-Day has twenty-plus years of experience in education. She's a well-rounded and versatile educator with an extensive background working in elementary, middle and high schools in a variety of capacities. "Kids are her top priority and she wants everyone to succeed". She's having fun teaching kids and learning at the same time. She is a product of the Oakland Unified School District.

Mrs. Brooks-Day is a wife and mother of two grown adults. In her free time, she takes a variety of fitness classes at the gym, enjoys reading books, biking and hanging out with family and friends. She's also a certified Zumba instructor and loves dancing. She looks forward to assisting and supporting her Scholar's in SAfG at MLK.
