Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

Featuring a Latina in STEMMeet Dr. Jessica Esquivel Dr. Jessica Esquivel is an Afro-mexican particle physicist, science communicator, and advocate for gender and racial equity in STEM. She is the co-founder of the twitter movement #BlackinPhysics and is currently an AAAS IF/THEN Ambassador, a program working to increase the number of women in STEM. She is currently working on the Muon g-2 project, which studies the characteristics of muons, particles bigger than electrons. Click the video below to learn about her work or check out her website.
