Bring SAfG to your school

Scientific Adventures for Girls (SAfG) welcomes the opportunity to offer an after school science class at your school or program site. SAfG acknowledges that informal STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) education during out-of-school time offers a critical opportunity to spark, grow and sustain interest in these fields.  We will work with your staff to create a class that fits with your school's after school program schedule. SAfG offers classes for girls only or co-educational settings in grades K-5. Each class is custom tailored for the age and level of the students.  We are equipped to arrange classes in the San Francisco East Bay Area. SAfG is especially committed to working with schools that serve low income or underserved populations. We offer subsidized classes to students who are not able to cover the full, after school class fee (based on a sliding scale).  We collaborate with teachers to reach out to kids, especially girls, who may not have had the opportunity to participate in this type of enrichment program.

If you are a school administrator, teacher or parent and want to bring a SAfG after school class to your school, please contact us.
